About Laura Ann Artist

Laura Ann is an artist and illustrator living in Margate, Kent. She studied for a BA in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art followed by a Masters in Illustration, and has spent the past decade selling her artworks alongside a career in the creative industries.

Laura Ann work across a range of media from painting to textiles; common themes being the use of a single illustrative line and stripped back colour palette. Her most recent works are predominantly figurative, working from life as much as possible. Drawings are rendered by hand in pen on paper and often created in minutes; many will be discarded before the right image materialises. These are then traced onto fabric and stitched by hand. Her figurative pieces depict a variety of ages and body types, aiming to capture and celebrate the energy of the sitters depicted as much as the physical forms.

Simulatanenous to this practise, Laura Ann have long been collecting ephemeral objects such as receipts, handwritten notes and ticket stubs and reproducing them in textile works. She is fascinated by the idea of celebrating the ‘infra- odinary’, and with how she can bestow otherwise mundane, mass produced pieces with new significance.

About Sian Barratt

Sian is a surface print designer dedicated to fostering a vibrant, colourful world through her work. Inspired by the dynamic clashes of colour and pattern found in everyday surroundings, she takes a playful and intuitive approach to design—exploring colour and composition through mixed media collage, screen printing, and digital processes.

Sian follows a human-centered design ethos, grounded in the belief that colour and pattern can enrich our lives and offer a joyful escape from everyday stress—something she strives to weave into every aspect of her practice!

Guided by the principles of colour theory and informed by emerging design trends, she creates bold and upbeat colourways that inject moments of joy into the spaces people live and move through.

By blending traditional techniques such as screen printing with a strong foundation in digital design, Sian’s work achieves a balance between hand-crafted authenticity and modern precision. Her signature style is a fusion of kaleidoscopic colour, geometric form, and abstract composition—resulting in energetic and adaptable prints suited to a range of markets, from commercial interiors and large-scale murals to giftware and greetings.
